Product Introduction

Ne 30s is the count most Chinese apparel programmes are built on: coarse enough to give a fabric body and opacity, fine enough to knit cleanly at standard gauge. This C30S ring-spun yarn is spun from a single cotton sourcing programme rather than spot-market lots, which is what allows the lot-to-lot evenness figures to stay in the same range every shipment.

The measured figure that matters for a weaving customer is zero thin places per 1,000 m. A thin place is where the yarn loses cross-section and becomes the point at which a warp end breaks under tension; at zero the stop rate is governed by knots and mechanical causes instead, so loom efficiency is easier to plan against.

Key Advantages

Zero thin places per 1,000 m. Evenness testing at the −50% threshold recorded no thin places in the test length. Thin places are the most common origin of warp stoppages and of the fine streaks that only become visible after piece dyeing, so eliminating them removes two failure modes at once — one in the mill, one in the finished fabric.

Evenness CV 10.4%. Mass variation along the yarn determines how level the fabric face looks and how uniformly it takes dye. A CV of 10.4% keeps visible barre and shading within tolerance for solid-dyed shirting and knitwear without recourse to heavier finishing.

Breaking strength 455.2 cN. High single-end strength gives headroom when the yarn is used as warp at high tension, or when the fabric is given a resin or softening treatment that costs tensile strength. It also tolerates the higher twist insertion needed for crepe and voile constructions.

100% cotton handle with no finishing aids. The yarn carries no added softener or wax beyond normal spinning lubrication, so absorbency is at its natural level. For customers running enzyme washes, mercerising or reactive dyeing this means fewer surprises in liquor uptake and shade depth.
