Product Introduction
Siro spinning feeds two strand drafts into a single twisting point, so the resulting yarn has a two-strand structure without a separate plying step. The practical consequence is reduced hairiness: surface fibres are trapped between the strands rather than protruding, giving a cleaner fabric face than ring-spun yarn at the same count.
This AA-grade Ne 40s measures CV 11.84% evenness with zero thin places per 1,000 m — figures that matter most for printing and for pale solid shades, where protruding fibres scatter light and blur print definition.
Key Advantages
Reduced hairiness without plying. Siro construction delivers much of the cleanliness of a two-ply yarn at single-yarn cost. For print-base fabrics this directly sharpens print definition and reduces the fluff that collects on screens and rollers during production.
Zero thin places at Ne 40s. Siro structures distribute thin sections between two strands, so a thin place in one strand is bridged by the other. That is why the evenness statistics hold up at fine counts where single-strand yarns do not.
223 cN with improved abrasion behaviour. Trapped surface fibres mean less fibre shedding under friction, which improves both abrasion resistance and cleanliness in knitting, where lint accumulation on machine parts is a practical production problem.
AA internal grade. AA is our internal classification covering evenness and nep performance across consecutive lots, not a marketing label. It is applied where both indicators remain within the tighter band.
Recommended Applications
Printed & premium knit apparel — Print-base jersey, high-end T-shirts, business-casual shirting, seamless-feel knit tops and fine underwear fabrics.
Home textiles — Bedding and decorative fabrics where a clean surface and uniform dye uptake dominate the specification.
